A custom garage at this level is part studio, part sanctuary. We work with you to shape every detail, from ceiling height and lighting zones to floor coatings and material selections that hold up to serious use. We plan our builds for Minnesota winters from day one, with footings below the frost line, insulated walls, and roofs framed for heavy snow loads. We also build garage homes with fully finished living quarters above the bays for those who want the ultimate property upgrade. You bring the vision, and we handle the permits, scheduling, and built-to-spec execution.
A woodworker’s shop demands different infrastructure than a painter’s studio or a fabricator’s bay. Our custom garage workshops in the Twin Cities are designed around your craft, with 220V circuits, heated floors, high-output task lighting, and oversized doors sized for your equipment. No compromises, no cookie-cutter layouts.
Car lifts need more than just headroom. They need thick, reinforced slabs, precise structural framing, and clear-span layouts that leave zero dead zones. As a lift-ready garage builder in Minneapolis and the surrounding south metro, we spec every detail before the first pour. Hence, your setup is ready to work the day you move in.
A standalone shop should be as refined as the work done inside it. We build each high-end detached workshop in MN with premium siding, insulated carriage-style doors, custom storage lofts, and durable interior finishes that hold up to daily use. As your custom car garage contractor, we treat your property and your standards with the care they deserve.
Matt does top notch work, highly highly recommend!!
We are very happy with the work from Inova Services. Across multiple projects: Driveway repair, Deck replacement, along with assorted smaller projects. Good communication, work scheduling and management, and quality of results. Five Stars isn't quite enough.
Matt has been wonderful to work with and continues to impress us with his knowledge and communication! We have been most excited about the design of our new kitchen. Working with Matt and the designer was great. We were able to partner with both of them to really get the most storage and functionality out of our space, without sacrificing design. We can’t wait to see it come to life!

His attention to detail is outstanding, and every project has turned out beautifully. Mathew has been a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable in his craft and is passionate about building. I highly recommend working with him if you have a project.
Matt and team did an amazing job adding wainscoting to our stairwell and accent wall. They taped the design so I could see what it would look like beforehand hand and stayed on time and budget. Matt was a great communicator before, during and after. He even send a handwritten card thanking me for the business. They left their scaffolding for our painters to make they job easier and made a wooden step for future project needs to be made easier. They went above and beyond and really made this project feel more attainable. Highly recommend them for your project needs!
We LOVED working with Matt who owns Inova services. We had a basement project that we needed some help with updating. I can not tell you how impressed I am. I have never met a contractor that communicates so well. He was always checking in with updates and asking if we had questions or concerns throughout the process. Matt also cares about the clients he works with. He is very detailed and has your best interest. He would think about details that would fit our needs. For example, a small thing like checking in about how a door would door open with the way we wanted to use the space. His bid was competitive with others we received and we were impressed by his process, organization, communication, kindness and detail and went with Inova. Matt is great and I would recommend him. We hope to use him again when we work on redoing our kitchen!
I hired Matt at Inova Services as a subcontractor for a finished basement. He and his team coordinated the installation of doors and trim and painted the basement. Matt and his crew were on time, respectful, and completed the job well. I would recommend Inova Services!
I have used Matt and his crew at Inova Services for a number of projects over the years including installation and maintenance of an irrigation system. An electrical contractor accidentally drove a copper grounding wire through the system electric cable. It was hard to find and repair but Matt had the right equipment to find and repair the problem. It’s nice to work with people who know what they are doing. I highly recommend Matt and his crew!!

I used Inova to install some windows in my home! They look great! Matt was very thorough when it came to making my vision into a reality! The design process was smooth, the team was super nice and curious, the project length was within the window of time they originally estimated and they cleaned up everything upon completion!
